BTC Spot ETFs Bleed While ETH Spot ETFs Attract Inflow

Since the last few days, Bitcoin seems to be tumbling in the range below $115,000, and the steadiness in the prices has been mimicked by Bitcoin spot ETFs, and as per the data from CoinGlass, an outflow of $192.20 million was recorded on August 05, 2025

The outflow on August 05 was led by FBTC with $99.10 million, and with IBIT mirroring an outflow of $77.40 million, and GBTC stood third with an outflow of $19.70 million

Yet the outflow on August 04 was around double that of Aug 05, reaching $325.50 million, with BlackRock’s IBIT alone making an outflow of $292.20 million, BITB was only to add $18.70 million on the same day, also FBTC and GBTC remained in the red

On the other hand, the overall outflow in Bitcoin spot ETFs on August 01, 2025, was $812.30 million, the highest outflow mirrored by FBTC of $331.40 million, ARKB’s outflow was $327.90 million, with GBTC at $66.80 million, BTC $33.60 million, and BTCO at $5.10 million outflow, and IBIT at least $2.60 million

Ethereum ETFs enjoying highs with Ether prices approaching $4,000

According to the data available on CoinGlass, Ethereum spot ETFs saw an inflow of $73.30 million on August 05, 2025, with ETHA by BlackRock at the top of the inflow list, adding $88.08 million, ETHV by VanEck recorded an inflow of $5.20 million, and CETH by 21 Share has contributed with an inflow of $3.60 million

However, the inflow in Ethereum spot ETFs from July 23, 2024, to July 22, 2025, is $8.35 billion, and on July 23 this year, the inflow was $332.20 million, on July 24, the inflow was $231.2 million, July 24, a massive inflow of $452.80 million was seen

The Ethereum spot ETF category is expanding its size with ETHA having $727.99 million in volume, with AUM of $11.14 billion and market capitalization of $10.28 billion, followed by ETHE having $172.40 million in volume, AUM of $3.46 billion, and market cap of $4.61 billion

In terms of price, CETH is one of the cheapest ETH ETFs, priced at $17.83, followed by ETHW is trading at $25.59, ETHA at $27.02, EZET for $27.12, ETHE for $29.51 million, ETH for $33.61, and QETH $35.63

With the surge in inflow in the ETH spot ETF category, there are claims that the positive inflow has been triggered by the growing price of Ethereum, and as of writing, it is exchanging hands at $3,620.62 with an increase of 42% in a month and has added 50% to its price in the 52-week time frame.
