Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein stated in an interview with US media on Bloomberg TV that the company believes Bitcoin spot ETFs will eventually get approval. Sonnenshein said she expects the verdict of her cases with the SEC to come out this summer. Grayscale CEO said that they are currently focused on converting the Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) product into a Bitcoin ETF and are awaiting results from the appeals court. Expressing that they expect the decisions to be made until the autumn months, Sonnenshein stated that they will take steps for GBTC to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and that it will be revealed in time when the SEC will be convinced of the surveillance agreements. Sonnenshein also said that whether or not to accept a spot Bitcoin ETF is not discussed, the debate is when it will be accepted, emphasizing that GBTC plays an important role in this.
