Mazzanti raises 1 million euros through STO financing, Bitcoin can be used to purchase supercars.
Mazzanti Automobili, the renowned Italian luxury car manufacturer, is planning to launch a Security Token Offering (STO) on the regulated digital marketplace STOKR. This news was announced on February 25.
The goal of this STO is to raise 999999 euros (approximately 1.2 million US dollars) for the development of a special edition of the Evantra Millecavalli R supercar.
According to the official statement, investors will have the opportunity to purchase MZZ Tokens, priced at 1 Euro each. These tokens are issued through Blockstream AMP, which is a security tokenization platform built on the Bitcoin sidechain Liquid and has been directly integrated with STOKR.
It is worth noting that half of the sales revenue from the Evantra special edition will be distributed to MZZ Token holders. These tokens will be issued in certain European countries, with a minimum investment set at 50 euros.
At the same time, Mazzanti announced that starting from February 25, the company will accept Bitcoin as a payment method for all versions of the Evantra supercar. This move follows the decision of a certain electric vehicle manufacturer to accept Bitcoin for car purchases.
STOKR is a platform based in Luxembourg that focuses on listing STO projects compliant with EU capital market regulations. Last year, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority of Germany approved ParkinGO as the first cross-border STO project on the STOKR platform.
This series of measures demonstrates the trend of integration between the traditional automobile manufacturing industry and emerging financial technologies, providing more options for investors and consumers.
