[Chain News] PANews, June 26 - According to reports, the privacy protocol Privacy Pools, supported by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, has announced the addition of stablecoin support features. This protocol will allow users to anonymously transfer stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, and DAI through zk-SNARKs technology, achieving cash-like shielded transactions.

Privacy Pools adopts the "associated set provider" mixing scheme proposed by Buterin in 2023, which filters out illegal funds while ensuring on-chain privacy. Users need to deposit ERC-20 tokens through the 0xbow wallet, and then they can withdraw to a new anonymous address. The startup that developed this technology, 0xbow, has previously received investments from institutions such as Bankless and personally from Buterin.
